Description

This helmet comes standard with a mounted clear visor and an additional tinted visor in the box. Optional mirrored visors are also available.

The second version (II) of the SCORPION EXO-1400 II EVO Air is part of an increasingly impressive list of models and versions, but it always remains sharp, aggressive, and packed with all SCORPION features. With its two spikes in the logo, high performance drive, and visually striking design, this is a full-face helmet that also makes a style statement.

The EXO-1400 EVO II Air features a fiberglass helmet shell, with three different shell sizes to keep every helmet size neatly proportioned. SCORPION translates this into a narrower shell with aerodynamic accents along its length. The composite shell (TCT) uses various fibers, each with specific properties, to achieve the best possible result.

This logical evolution of the original EXO-1400 EVO Air, now CE22.06 certified, includes a redesigned, lower-positioned rear spoiler, and the rubber seal between the helmet and visor has been thickened for better performance. These are details appreciated by connoisseurs for an enhanced helmet experience.

The dual chin ventilation can still be operated with a single, relatively large slider, easily managed with or without motorcycle gloves. The top ventilation is also easy to locate. Incoming air cools the helmet and exits through the rear exhaust vent, which is always open in this second version, integrated into the improved spoiler. The name subtly marked on the helmet indicates to those behind you that you’re riding with a top-tier helmet.

SCORPION’s Airfit system is present. Using an air pump in the chin piece, you can inflate the cheek pads to your liking. The valve next to the pump allows air to be released.

SCORPION – Asian design with a European touch – uses several unique terms, which we’ll explain here.

The Ellip Tec II system is SCORPION’s name for the visor mechanism. The included transparent visor is easy to operate and features a central front lock that almost automatically opens and closes securely when the visor is snapped shut. This ensures a clear view even in wet conditions. A Pinlock® lens with Maxvision is included with the helmet.

‘Speedview’ refers to SCORPION’s integrated sun visor. The slider is located on the left, just behind the hinge of the clear visor. Up and down operation is straightforward.

Kwickwick 3 pertains to the interior: fully removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, this helmet interior manages internal moisture reassuringly, even in warm conditions. When you see ‘Kwikfit’ in a SCORPION helmet description, it indicates that the helmet is perfectly suitable for eyeglass wearers, with spaces for the temple arms.

A wide and well-fitting neck roll, the adjustable Double D-ring closure, and the emergency system that allows the helmet to be removed in case of an emergency, illustrate the attention to detail. A removable wind deflector and chin curtain are also included.

Also noteworthy: a five-year warranty.

For maintaining this helmet, we recommend using S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. For cleaning the interior without removing it, S100 helmet interior cleaner can be used. New visors have a water-repellent treatment, which becomes less effective over time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.

Safety first! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. At night, scratches or dullness cause blinding reflections from streetlights and oncoming headlights. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It’s best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Don’t forget to bring a spare visor. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
